Atlanta's Top 4 Valentine's Day Menus

Somehow Valentine's Day seems to creep up each year without warning.  After the excitement and chaos of the holiday season, many of us put Valentine's into the back of our minds.  Fortunately, your friendly neighborhood restaurants haven't forgotten this delightful winter holiday and have pulled out all the stops to bring some incredible dishes and events for you and your significant other this February 14th.  So kick back, relax, we’ve done the hard part of your Valentine’s Day planning below and found you the best spots in Atlanta, all you have to do is book the reservation.

Marlow's Tavern

With many locations stationed throughout Atlanta, Marlow's Tavern has become a staple in this city's impressive food culture.  Headed by chef John Metz, Marlow's offers American tavern fare in a friendly, yet modern, atmosphere.  This Valentine's Day, the Marlow's team has gone above and beyond by creating a fresh and unique prix fixe menu for each of their locations. We have decided to highlight their Midtown location's menu as it tickled our taste buds the most. At a reasonable $35 a person, Marlow's Midtown might just be the best bang for your Valentine buck with a three course meal to ignite your evening.  To start, they offer a crisp Winter Salad or Fresh Burrata Mozzarella.  Then, you get your choice of Grilled Red Fish with couscous, cherry, toasted almonds, baby spinach and red wine beurre blanc or the Marinated Beef Tenderloin that's made with Jack Daniel's Honey Glaze and comes with a flaky shrimp pot pie.  A cool dessert option for this meal is the Flighty White Chocolate Martini that's rockin' three different kinds of chocolate. Marlow's will be serving this pre-fix all weekend long so don't hesitate to start the celebration early. 10th & Piedmont

Serving seasonally inspired Tapas dishes for sharing, 10th & Piedmont is well-known for its world-class flavors that mix well with a little Southern inspiration.  The atmosphere here is perfect for any romantic night out, as it is designed with a modern flare and large windows overlooking the beautiful Midtown area, but their three-day Valentine's event should prove to be extra special. This $45 four-course meal will begin with Roasted Tomato and Shrimp Bisque, followed by an appetizer of Spicy Flash Fried Oysters (this natural aphrodisiac will be sure to put your date in the mood) and Brie Salad.  The main course includes your choice of Pan Seared Red Snapper Citrus Beurre Blanc or the Surf and Turf with Petite Filet Mignon Au Poivre and Crab Cake.  If you aren't stuffed to the gills yet, finish off this dining experience with a delicious Triple Crème Chocolate Cake and call it a night!
