This week is all about food! Between GA restaurant week, the Attack of the Killer Tomato festival, and a good old fashioned lobster broil, you have every excuse to go out on the town.

GA Restaurant Week

Monday July 13- Sunday 19 in Atlanta

This week, make sure to check out GA Restaurant Week’s special meals! The GA Restaurant Association and the GA Dept. of Economic Development have partnered up to set up a week of discounted, special menu offerings. Participating restaurants will have special lunch and dinner menus for a set price (available here). Restaurants like Local Three, Article 14, DBA barbecue, Highland Tap, Ruth’s Chris, and The Iberian Pig are already signed up, and more are coming!  -Prices vary by menu

Whiskey and Swine Night

Tuesday July 14 at Southern Art and Bourbon Bar 

Every Tuesday night at 5, you can stop by Southern Art and Bourbon Bar for a two part tasting. You’ll try delicious regionally sourced hams from the Ham Bar, while sampling a set of private label Bourbons from the Bourbon Bar. It’s a true Southern experience! -$25

Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival

Sunday July 19 at JCT Kitchen & Bar

You and your friends can face off against “killer tomatoes”- tons of delicious tomato-themed dishes and cocktails from the best chefs in Atlanta. Over 50 chefs and mixologists will bring amazing (tomato inspired) dishes to the table to sample. Participating restaurants’ chefs include Bacchanalia, Fox Bros Bar-B-Q, Fresh Point, JCT Kitchen & Bar, Kyma, King of Pops, Octopus Bar, The Optimist, Local Three, Watershed, and way too many more to mention. You’ll also hear live music from Ill Communication and Five Bone Rack, a passionate band of chefs. All proceeds will benefit The Giving Kitchen, an organization dedicated to helping members of the restaurant community in need, and Georgia Organics, which works to increase the presence of local, organic food in Georgia. -$70
