My wife and I love Decatur, especially when the weather is nice. It's a great part of town to just get out to stroll around and find all sorts of different food, activities, music, and even drinks. This time, when we were restaurant hopping in Decatur, we decided to go on a hunt for the best bourbons in Decatur. Here is the list we put together.
BOTTLED OLD FASHIONED
Costing only $38 for 4 pours, the bottled old fashioned at Kimball House is the steal of Decatur. Sure you miss the fancy moves and the twist it takes to hand craft it, but at the end of the day it’s all about the taste and this cocktail tastes just fine.
LEON'S FULL SERVICE
I'm not sure how to pronounce this spring cocktail at Leon's, but I do know that the combination of unique ingredients lends itself to a mouth full of goodness that keeps you wanting more. This is definitely a unique take on Scotch that you don’t want to miss.
VICTORY SANDWICH BAR
JACK AND COKE SLUSHY
Call me nostalgic- but when you combine one of my childhood favorites with something I had a lot of in my early 20’s, it’s going to bring me back to "the good ole days" and cheers to Victory for that.
