Wednesday June 3rd at Monday Night Brewing

Grab your favorite local beer and find two great live performances at Monday Night Brewing’s Blues and Brews! The event’s proceeds support the Gateway Center, aiding the fight against chronic homelessness in Atlanta. A former Gateway client, Danny Tennial, and a great eclectic band from Memphis, Trio Plus, will both bring old-school blues to the stage. Ticket includes a souvenir glass, free tasting, a brewery tour, and concert entry. - $25 Advanced $30 Door

Atlanta Fringe Fest

Wednesday June 3rd - Sunday June 7th

Looking to experience art with an edge? On June 3rd, puppeteers, dancers, actors, and performers from six different states will come together in Atlanta to present Atlanta Fringe Fest. This is a fantastic line-up of 20 crazy, weird, and wild performances from indie theatre companies and artists. Passes can also be split with friends. Big A$$ Water Balloon Fight

Saturday June 6th at Candler Park

Yes, this event is exactly what you’re imagining, an amazingly huge water balloon fight in Candler park, with King of Pops available for sale on site. They do suggest bringing your own ammo (they provide some balloons, but they run out quickly!. Don't miss the 21+ after party at Star Bar, with live music, artist tents, a hula-hoop performance, a burlesque show, and raffle prizes from PBR. - FREE

Saturday June 6th-Sunday June 7th in Virginia Highlands

Summerfest is a classic outdoor festival with food vendors, cold drinks, and live music. This year, the event will have two stages. The first will host a variety of local and national artists, including The Southern Gothic, Dumpstaphunk, The Georgia Flood, Cicada Rhythm, and Heavy Chevy. The smaller ‘acoustic stage’ will have a more intimate feel.    - FREE

Fox Theatre Block Party

Sunday June 7th on Peachtree Street NE and Ponce de Leon Avenue

Join the neighborhood! The Fox Theatre Block party, a sprawling festival in downtown Atlanta, promises delicious food, cold drinks, games and prizes, live music, and free performances! The party is a celebration to honor the people of Atlanta who saved the theatre in 1979, when a $1.85 million fundraising effort let Fox re-open its doors. You’ll hear music from Francine Reed, Bogey & the Viceroy, Orquesta MaCuba, Tribute – A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band, The DejaBlue Grass Band, and many others.    - FREE
