December's Best Food And Drink Events In Atlanta

December is here and that means more parties, events, and fun than you can fit into your already busy schedule. Here, we've weeded out the duds and only brought you the ones you won't want to miss.

Reindog Parade

DECEMBER 5th at The Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Okay, so this isn't exactly a food and beverage event but we couldn't resist. Take your best friend to their own holiday party or just come for fun. Dogs - and humans - will be dressed up in their holiday attire for the parade. Of course Santa will be available for photo ops and beverages will be served. Prizes will be awarded to the finest dressed pups by celebrity judges.

 

 

Tinsle & Twine

DECEMBER 12TH at Westside Provisions Disctrict

Come celebrate the holidays with carolers, falling snow, pop-up tree stands, complimentary holiday treats from West Egg Cafe, JCT Kitchen & Bar, and Cooks & Soldiers. There is enough family fun to go around. Saint Nick will even make an appearance to take and print complimentary photos inside of the seed factory. More info.

9th annual Gingerbread Trailer Park

DECEMBER 12TH AT Euclid Avenue Yacht Club

Come put your creative skills to the test at the 9th Annual Gingerbread Trailer Park. No gingerbread is required and no meat is allowed. No double lots. No subletting. Free electricity. Trailers will be judged based on creativity, craftsmanship, and overall Christmasness. First place earns themselves $100 cash. Prizes for 2nd, 3rd, and trashiest will be awarded. Trash talk is encouraged. More info.

Last Supper - Holiday PArty

DECEMBER 13TH AT sister louisa's church of the living room and ping pong emporium

It's the last Sunday Service of the season. As always Church DJ, Vicki Powell, will be on Hiatus until the Spring. As her holiday gift to you she will be sure to make this a night to be remembered. More info.

THE UGLY SWEATER RUN

DECEMBER 19th In Piedmont Park 

Prepare for runners, walkers, and prancers in their worst apparel flooding the city streets during this annual 5k. Once you've completed the merriest run of your life, enjoy a Sam Adams beverage and other holiday goodies. Awards will be given for best Ugly Sweater, Kids Sweater, Pet Attide, and Real/Fake Mustache/Beard so bring your A game.   More info.
